Judging by the smiles in the pictures from the Acro Workshop, I’d say the event was a wonderful success! It looks like everyone had a great time. Did you go? What did you enjoy most about it? This past week, I didn’t do anything new, however, I did schedule myself a new fitness class for this week. I bought a Groupon several months ago (which is expiring in less than two weeks) for three classes at an aerial fitness studio in north Dallas. The first class there I tried was an aerial yoga class – this was interesting, fun, and HARD. The picture below shows me in an inverted pose. Laying in the silks during Savasana was amazingly relaxing. It is not something I would like to do all the time, but every once in a while it would be great fun to do.
The class I am scheduled for Friday evening is a pole fitness class. I realize it sounds like a stripping class, but the clothes stay on and I have heard it’s a great core and upper body workout. I am very nervous! You’ll hear how it goes next week.
The monthly Yoga by the Waterfall is this coming Saturday, October 27, 10:30-11:45am. I am pretty excited about this, as last month’s was cancelled due to weather conditions and I missed the month before that. Hope to see you there!
Have a wonderful week!
Namaste.
