Join the DFW Truck Farm Fun Run at Earth Day Dallas on 4/21~ Team ‘Yoga 4 Love’! We are raising funds for the NATIONAL FLEET of Truck Farms, with Founder of DFW Truck Farm, Donelle Simmons. The concept is being carried out nationally with a fleet of 24 trucks across the US! Help us with this amazing mission to bring the education of organic gardening to the masses, by planting an organic garden in a truck!
The Second Annual DFW Truck Farm Fun Run will be Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Fair Park during the Earth Day Dallas Celebration. This fun run is stroller friendly!
Eco gardening Stations along the route and Yoga 4 Love sponsored yoga stations! After the run Yoga 4 Love will hold a cOMmunity yoga class on the grass in Fair Park! Please register early so you get FREE PARKING and all the amazing goodies in the race bag! The ‘packet’ is in a farmer’s hat! Many community yoga studios and teachers are sponsoring a yoga pose race station along the 5K route in Fair Park.
8:15AM Zumba with Stephanie Patterson and the Yoga 4 Love Zumba Demo Team before the race! “I’m Sexy And I Know It!” Guys, you can Zumba, too!
8:30AM Race starts!*Dress like a farmer and run like a farmer for prizes with real farmers as judges!
Make sure to stop at each station along the route to plant seeds and do a yoga pose for prizes! Come to the Yoga 4 Love Booth after the race to collect your prize!
This is a family fun run or walk, a great run for the whole family, first time runners, and those looking to do something a little different on the weekend. Celebrate Earth Day with us and enjoy a full day of fun after the run at Earth Day Dallas.
