My journey stemmed from learning Reiki in 2001 when my mom was diagnosed with a recurrence of breast cancer.  In 2008 I founded Yoga 4 Love in honor of her mom’s journey with breast cancer.
It was very difficult to learn how to let go, I am still in that process. It has been since 2008 that my mom crossed over and 2015 that my dad left the Earth plane. I focus on my connection to Mother Earth, and pour a lot of energy into creating a legacy through my writing, my online trainings and the lives I help change with whole food nutrition.
Here is the Yoga 4 Love Advanced Training Programs Mission Statement:
Expanding Horizons, Inspiring Positive Change, through the Vinyasa yoga teachings, principles and yogic lifestyle. Bringing Knowledge, Empowerment, Love, Harmony, Truth, Awareness, Well-Being, Appreciation, Joy, Peace, Light, Consciousness and Oneness with Divine Source.
My company is a fully accredited yoga school online! We offer streaming audio, video, lecture and interactive webinars and workshops as well as private coaching and private lessons via video chat. The Yoga 4 Love Advanced Training Programs Online school stemmed from my in studio school. After a life event, a major house fire, I knew that my priorities needed to change. I had developed my curriculum and was spending way too many nights and weekends out of my schedule to teach. I was only reaching just a handful of students in the Dallas area. I felt a true a need to bring the teachings of yoga globally, out into the world! I wanted or the students and myself to have plenty of balance in work, family and spiritual life throughout the training. I have created a training that does not require extra time to get away for weekends on end, to have to take off work or book extended retreats do the yoga training.
Many ask so, ‘What makes Yoga 4 Love Advanced Training Programs Unique?’
Many people are interested in becoming a certified yoga instructor but struggle to find the time to attend scheduled classes and retreats. Yoga 4 Love offers a comprehensive and fully interactive, guided training that you can navigate online at your own pace.
Our teacher certification programs are designed to extend beyond the realm of a typical yoga education. We focus on lifestyle enhancement. Many students enroll in the program with no initial intention to teach, but rather to grow personally, to integrate healthy mind, body and spirit practices into their daily lives.
The style we teach is called Intuitive Vinyasa. Intuitive Vinyasa is a yoga practice or class taught with the traditional elements of a vinyasa flow, the movement of Prana, the connection to Source and the mindfulness of being present with and for our Self and the ones whom we are teaching.
It is the ability to utilize the tools of Yogic truth and bring these teachings intuitively into the present now moment, with relevance to the mind-body connection. It is a way of life, moving with the breath, using the body as an expression of art, and a deep personal connection to Spirit. Trainees learn the to practice with energy, the elements: Earth, Water, Air, Fire, Ether, as well acknowledgement of the four directions, our ancestors and our lineage.

Spring Full Pink Moon + Theme of April is Intensity

Happy Full Pink Moon!

The theme of this month is INTENSITY. I started off April like, nah, that is not accurate. Life is gooooood, right? Well, for me things really ramped up and life threw me a freaking curve ball from left field. DID NOT SEE THAT ONE COMING! DANG! I am now so thankful for the scheduled training I had planned, I almost backed out.

When life throws you a curve ball, what do you do? What do you WANT to do? What is the best thing to do for your Highest Good?

The energy workers in my sister Shamanic Practitioner group were discussing a really important topic at our shamanic training this past weekend.

What is power? How do you retrieve it? Where did we first give it away? How can we get it back?

Searching… Let me know what YOU feel.

So many fun things to do with health, wellness and yoga for this spring! Take a peek and we will see you online or on the mat soon! Namaste.

The Earth is coming alive! What is your intention for this next cycle?

What is your intention for this next cycle? It is SPRING!
Have you shed off the winter and moved into this new cycle of birth? The Earth is coming alive! I encourage you to spend at least 15 minutes outside every day. I have a rhythm that makes me go outside, I have brought my 2 horses onto our land as of last fall. My son and I built a hotwire fence with help from the hubby and we have a lovely barn that they stay in at night next door. Getting outside daily really helps keep my body in sync with the circadian rhythms of the seasons, the sunrise and sunsets and I see the stars every clear night. So refreshing. Come to our retreat and spend some time out here with us this summer!
My daily life has drastically been altered since last month, my son is now active duty Navy, and he is in bootcamp right now, as I write you. I have had an upheaveal of bittersweet emotions and with that stated I have added a few things to my Self time. One is beginning my study as a Shamanic Practitioner. This was on my calling for years, and the time is now for me to begin, I started with an intense weekend training the weekend before my son left. I have had a lot of tears and letting go emotions! So much more difficult than I imagined.
Taking my first Shamanic training has been so grounding. I am so thankful for the tapped in, turned on comnnection I have received with my sister Goddeses and Sprit. This has really brought me through the difficult emotions of my first born leaving the nest. The permanance of the Navy is such a dramatic way to go, and he was in shock factor for the first month, as well. No phone, no personal affects, no calls for 2 weeks, and only a few letters.
As in Kali energy, the chaos is how my life rolls. BUT ahhhh… the beauty she brings. My next weekend Shamanic training is this weekend! So looking forward to it.
Affirmations for Spring:
I TRUST IN THE UNIVERSE NOW!!!
I AM IN THE DIVINE FLOW!
I AM OPEN AND RECEIVING UNLIMITED ABUNDANCE FROM ALL SOURCES!

What are you clearing? What are you embracing? Journaling is an integral part of my daily Sadhana, and if you are looking to add to your daily time for self care and do not know where to begin read more about Sadhana.

Ayurvedic practices have been another way to delve into taking care of Self. I mentioned one before to you, massage with oil, a practice of Self care called Abayangha (oiling part or the whole body with intention).
The other one is Nasya, and is really super simple. It is an herbal blend of oil that is placed into the nose and sniffed in to effect the brain and olfactory senses immediately. ? It is really powerful, there is a lot of Eastern research on this practice.

Taking time for YOU this season is number one priority.

I would love to meet with you on video chat and do an affirmation creation session, an angel card reading, Reiki healing or some life and nutrition coaching! Book a time with me! Let’s chat!

See you online or on the mat soon!

Namaste.

Peace, Love + Light,

Lisa

Spring Equinox is Monday, March 20, 2017! What are you clearing?

Spring Equinox (or Fall in the Southern Hemisphere) is Monday, March 20 at 4:28 AM Mountain Daylight Time (MDT).

(blog in progress, will write more later this weekend)

It is time to SURRENDER our anger, our resistance, our judgement and our need to know.

Enter the fiery time of action, movement, and fruition. Use fire in a ceremony or ritual to surrender something that still needs to be unloaded. It can be symbolic as in burning a written narrative about what you are surrendering. Equinoxes always signal a chance for change and for renewal, taking the nourishment from the previous cycle and the freedom from surrender and weaving it into a new picture, a new expression and a new signature. Celebrate this newness, this rebirth in some way by doing something that represents an expansion and an upgrade. What part of you is being reborn? Honor it!
